How do you block an Ip address ...

There's an ip address I wish to block from viewing my website, how do I best accomplish this?

The easiest is using either php/cgi/cf/asp or any coding language, then its a couple of lines of code and you can block whoever you want.

You can probably do it using htaccess but never played with redirected people using that before

It needs to be by htaccess, otherwise I'd have to add cgi and php code to every page to block them.
