South Park will never be a pimple on The Simpsons arse in terms of sophistication.

The Simpsons is the sharpest, most observant satire of American society ever created. South Park is satire delivered with a sledgehammer. It's funny but it's like laughing at a fart joke.

South Park is satire for the kindergarten crowd.

Lol, I agree. I love South Park. The Wal-Mart episode was just on. I just got season 5 on DVD and have watched the episode where Kyle's cousin Kyle comes to stay like 50 times. I love that episode.

I'd say it's completely the opposite. South Park has had some extremely intelligent humor, whereas Simpsons is rather dull and bland

I prefer Family Guy above them both though, if for nothing more than its awesome 80s pop culture references

I think he just meant overall. Simpsons is woven very thick with hidden jokes, the whole way through. South Park is more "in your face" style humour.

But i would have to agree south park may not be for all ages , but it always has a hidden message ( moral ) with a very strong stand. The simpsons doesn't really push the edge very far in that respect.
