Advertising on a 100k TGP

What would be a good price for:

- A top listed banner ( 468x60 )
- Second top listed banner ( 468x60 )
- Third top listed banner ( 468x60 )
- Top listed galleries

What do you think?

whats the tgp? depends on his traffic quality, how much he sends on top spots, how is the design, etc.

It does really depend on the quality of the traffic. You could advertise with a 1 million traffic site and get no signups and advertise with a 100,000 traffic site and get 100 signups. Quality of traffic and relations to your niche is very important....

I currently operate a hardcore amateur & voyeur TGP ... www.voyeurzine.com

I would sell a pre-paid banner top banner spot for about $500 per month.
10 top text links would be $250 per month...

Hope that helps a little.

Regards

Terry www.voyeurzine.com

I think the quality is good,
I tested the traffic and it worked great!

well multiply your $ amount from sign-ups over the testing period by however much the testing period divides into the term you're buying the traffic for and pay below that number

But what about the Christmass time?
advertising near that time is said to be bad!

I disagree. X-mas time is one of the best times of the year - tons of new computers purchased and new surfers are the most likly to buy. If there was any time of the year to buy ads it would be x-mas time. Prices should go up for x-mas!

I got to agree with Sleazy, signups go up and down over the festive period but there is definitely a significant upturn in signups after 25th ( this is when all your early december advertising pays off! )

Over the 30 day's of December you should make about 30% more sales because a lot of people are on holiday, new computer, bored blah blah blah...

It's common sense.... What do you do at Christmas???

If you aren't going to spend money on advertising then I would advise JUNE/JULY time....

June/July are by far the worst months. May isn't great and Augest won't set any world records, but of the rest Dec is in the top 2 or 3.

well, I only been doing this for 3 years but all my CCBILL records show exactly the same..... May/June/July/August - most paysite operators and advertisers will agree. That is why you sometimes see special deals at the larger TGP's during the summer months....

JUNE/JULY are by far the worst months though. Without a doubt in my personal experience
