Legendary Lars Blown Porsche engine !

So I was driving to Meet the AFF crew last week and my Porsche puked in the middle of the road. 2 hours waiting for the tow truck and an hour dealing with paper and renta car.. Thye called me today and said your engine is seized up the best bet is to replace it ! 10K to replace the engine.. it only has 35,000 miles on it. Anyway i think its time to buy a new car. I am sorry Joel from Gamma..... I am leaning to the SLK55 AMG mercedes.

Hey dude,

I am an avid car fan especially when it comes to the german line of cars. If I were you I would stay away from the slk55 until next years production model for two reasons. First there is a lot of compliants about the number of problems the slk55 is having and second mercedes is changing all there engines in the next years line up, hence the slk will become the slk63. For more information on this, check out germancarfans.com or mbworld.org, great places to get facts from owners.

exactly my thoughts. always wait for the right oil temperature. mine has 100.000 mls (160.000 km) now and runs as smooth as on the first day.

What kind of warranty does Porsche give? 35,000 miles you blow your engine and they expect you to pay for it?

Plus Honestly no matter how much money i have in the bank I would have a hard time puttin 100 or more on a car. I would rather put that $$ into a house and buy a less car. And if I lived in LA it might work, but here in Santa Cruz I would look like such an asshole in a 100K car.

35k miles and they will charge you 10k? i would agree that a benz is the way to go now. you spend that kind of money and they should be shinning your ass rather than charging you.
