Your view on tours: Blind thumbs or no?

I've always wondered about this. Some tours use blind thumbs that link directly to the join page. While others are very cut and dry, no blind thumbs at all. Which is better? And why?

So I decided to do some testing for myself but am interested in your input as well. I took the blind thumbs off one of my tours. The join page traffic has obviously gone down, but time will tell whether or not this also dips into my sales. I'll give it a week or two before I decide what's best.

This particular tour was converting at about 1:450 from blind join page clicks for several months now. I just did some checking and noticed that a couple of my other sponsors are doing about 1:350 off non-blind join page traffic.

I have no idea which ones do better. But make sure to look at the $$$'s more than the ratio. The higher 1/450 ratio may actually make more sales simply cause you're banging more people to the join page regardless of the higher ratio.

Just my 2 cents even though I'm sure you all ready know this Sly so it's probably completely reduntant

Yes, I know the higher ratio is due to the blind clicks. Now I want to see if those blind clicks actually lead to more sales. Thats why I'm running this test. But thanks for pointing that out to the others who may read this thread.

Always compare apples to apples. Never apples to oranges. Though they are both fruit, they taste nothing alike.
