Roll-your-own
Recently I decided to try rolling my own cigarettes. I got one of those little rolling machines, papers, filter plugs and a pound of tobacco. Not bad. Then the other day I bought a pack of my regular brand. I figured they might make me sentimental for them, but not the case -- instead I actually got dizzy and nauseous smoking them!
My best guess is that the additives in the tobacco from a pack of cigs (and in the paper) were making me sick because I had lost my immunity toward them. Now, I don't like Marlboros anymore. If it isn't something I rolled, I don't want to smoke it. |

Yeah, what's the problem with the little machine? They roll faster and come out better. Plus, you put a filter in one end which is something that's hard to do if you roll it by hand.

I think using a rolling machine is ok but only if you know how to roll proper first

I, too, switched from store-boughts to making my own, when I still lived in the US. Can't do it down here. I always bought the American Spirit Natural tobacco and the ZZ filter tubes. The little "slider" machine was a handy little tool, for all sorts of "things." LOL
It was great to get away from the chemical additives. Just wish I could buy the "pieces" down here. No, not allowed to "import." SHIT! It's also the cheaper way to go for a smoker and, truthfully, natural tobacco without additives tastes a hellova lot better, too! |
