50 FUCKING POPUPS

No, expect more signups because more surfers will click the link and not expect the fucking popups. If they want to see the popups, there is a message now.

SmokeyTheBear 02-24-2005 03:42 PM

what someone needs to do is make a cool flash overlay ( like you may have seen toolbar instals using now )

So if a popup is blocked an overlay appears explaining the content was not shown due to the browser settings , and how to change it.

Fresh install of windows XP, IE6 SP1 I dont have any blockers of any kind.

Everyone claims to have unblockable this and that, maybe you should just stick with promoting your choose your own console and console free links. You seem to have more ppl getting blocked than pops.

We at ARS have had choose your own console and console free for awhile too.

Pimp Dough 02-24-2005 03:49 PM

Takes a little while, but that is fucking amazing. Congrats on the technology.

Well we dont use 50 popups, but there has been a majoir decrease in the value of a member and a hit. Sponsors need revenue from both to maintain high payouts.

popups happen when a surfer LEAVEs a site, console free links and traffic do not convert better then links with consoles. There is a place for console free, then there is traffic that should have consoles, we all need to make money here.

Thats why we offer console free, to get more signups, but going to turn in a sponsors code to microsoft, well thats just taking a punch at the industry that pays ppl bills.

That's funny you mention this, we are preparing to announce a increase in payouts within the next month or so. And of course if you use the no popups links you will get paid at least the same of the current payout we are offering presently.

Steen2 02-24-2005 04:44 PM

worked on my Firefox

but if you let the site load completely and then click anywhere on the site you'll get the popup

try it and let me know

the pop should happen with IE6.
did you wait for the site to load completely ?
then when it is loaded completely any click on the page will bring the popup.

test it and let me know.

No carrier
our standard number of popups is 2

1-the first popup is all gammacash sites with YOUR account number. You get credited for any sale generated on that page.

2-the second popup is ours.

3- Option: want to conrol your traffic you send to us? just add the URL you want the traffic to go to (other cash programs accepted) and a third exit will appear and offer your traffic to that selected URL.

You can of course contact us for our console free linking codes and we will be more than glad to give them to you.

those are just different options for you to choose from.

Thanks JimmyF, you are right.
That is something we forgot to specify at the beginning of this thread. Our popups are all pop under.

jayeff 02-24-2005 05:09 PM

XP/SP2 and Google... warning on entry and 1 exit (also with a warning) which closed when I clicked.

That's not too bad, although I hate pops and warnings when entering a site: at least try to sell your site to my traffic before hitting the surfer with something else. But if other configurations are behaving as reported here - ie hi-jacking the original window - that really p*sses me off. That would be 2 sponsors this week who are talking about "consoles" and conveniently forgetting to mention that without at least one backward click in the original window (and how many surfers will figure that out?) the traffic is gone for ever, even if it doesn't earn a cent for anyone.

The other program also had you email to request no-pop links (although that has now been changed to such links being available on-site).

vending_machine 02-24-2005 05:23 PM

No popup for me in Firefox with the flashblock extension. How can you call it a popup if you actually have to click on something to get it??

Flashblock extension: http://flashblock.mozdev.org/

No popup here -- I am using firefox :1orglaugh

Try it!

With Explorer, whatever the version, the popups will pop when you close the window, after the page has been loaded completely.

With Firefox, once the site is completely loaded, popups will pop on the first click.

Have fun!

I use Avant Browser, front end to Internet Explorer with built in popup blocker.

I do not get popup when I close window.

It's a pop under so the surfer has the opportunity to look at what is offered to him initially. Then by clicking any where on the site it triggers the script that pops the window under. so your surfer gets offered other gammacash sites with YOUR adv.ID when leaving the main site. So any sales on that 1 st page is yours and you get FULL credit for that join even on a trial sale. Plus we give you the ability to offer your surfer a 3rd exit that you control just put the URL you want and that's it.

No popups man..

Yes but click something on the page.. Does anyone read the post? Pops for me in firefox and keeps asking if I will allow a window close.. Dont know what is but it does work and had to right-click to get rid of it.

Sparks 02-24-2005 06:00 PM

Ahh man, not unblockable pop-ups. Those are sooo annoying. Good for business I guess.

The Sultan Of Smut 02-24-2005 06:05 PM

If you're going to be using these popups on your free hosted galleries without a 'no console' option then I'll be doing a lot of deleting.

As a matter of fact I'm sure most tgp/link list operators will take exception to the fact that surfers won't be able to return to the original site by simple clicking back. :2 cents:

iwantchixx 02-24-2005 06:11 PM

opera blocked everything :)

You must have missed where i posted this so I'll put it in big for others to catch as well.:

ALL OF OUR FREE HOSTED GALLERIES ARE CONSOLE FREE

ALL OF OF OUR FREE HOSTED WEBMASTERS HAVE CONSOLE FREE LINKING CODES .

Please excuse the caplocks it is not intended to make a point but just to help other readers to notice it.
Also nothing as changed from before. Still is only a selling point for webmasters that use the options of using our pop unders and the ability to control the last popup and offer there surfers any URl the webmaster chooses.

Also whatever option you choose; the payout stays the same, no deductions.

There is no such thing as an unblockable javascript popup. But I've been experimenting with php.

I don't see that as a bonus to affiliates. What if the person is clicking on the join link?

Spunky 02-24-2005 08:34 PM

It worked here in firefox as well..great code Smokey

KorayIsSexy 02-24-2005 09:38 PM

How is that laughable? JavaScript is client-side, so browsers can easily be programmed to block JS popups. PHP is server-side. So everything is processed and rendered by the server. The browser itself doesnt read the code, so how can it block it?

A site with php when viewsourced will display html.
A site with JS when viewsourced will display full code.

Just to see what I mean.

im not saying you couldnt make a popup with php , i was merely laughing at the statement..

If a javascript cant be unblockable than neither can a php popup right.

Basically nothing is unblockable, its easier to just state what doesnt block it ;)

Yes, popups do work with flash on firefox.

But the one Eric-Gamma posted didn't.

His claims of his popup beating all popup killers isn't accurate and that's the point I was trying to get across :)
