Assume I like to use adwords for promoting a sponsor and
track conversions by using the adword conversion code
with which sponsors will this work? Anyone using it
currently?

you need to put that code in the 'thank you' page, the landing page where the surfer goes after paying, so i dont think there is sponsor that accept that

I am not sure how it works if it is a code put by a cookie
then the page the user sees after submitting his cc and he
/she is aproved maybe it is then possible to use just a code
which works for all webmasters who are using adwords
to push traffic to the site?

Anyone knows more details about this is it possible?
