I think once the recurring model stops , affilate payouts will drop like lead balloons.

It will cost, but the sky will not fall. I had a backup processor a while back that could only take a 1 month subscription, and a fair number of people just joined again and again. Not every month always but I would get 7 or 8 signups a year from the same guy.

I figure if recurring stopped being offered I would loose some but but not that much, maybe raise prices a bit to compensate.

For crap sites with a business model based on hoping you forgot you joined, it would be another story.

What makes you think it will stop? Adult is far from the only ones using that model-AOL, Netflix, AAA, just to name a few off the top of my head...

lets say you make 10 sales daily, that's like 10k per month

if recurring stopped, then the affiliaste payout would be reduced from $35 to $10 and you would suddenly make $3k per month

It relies on volume of traffic.

Recurring billing will never end, it will 'evolve'.

haha just affiliate payouts?

This WHOLE industry as we know it will change. Nothing will be the same
since this whole business is built on recurring.

Even GFY will become a business board with a modest amount of active
users talking serious threads only in less than a year afterwards.

It will be the biggest wipeout weve ever seen and i hope it will start soon!!!
