I've been a raider fan all my life and this might be great. the signed porter to a long term deal and now if they get moss they will have two of the best recievers in the game. They are both fast and big game threats. Collins has a cannon for an arm. . . .now if they can just get a running back it's old school raider ball - run it hard and throw it deep.Comment

I am also a life long raider fan and must say its kind of a shock. I would think with ronald curry, jerry porter, and doug gabriel it would be smarter to take a solid running back in the draft then a wild cannon like moss. He is one of the all time greats but with that comes a lot of garbage. Not to mention we don't have a quarterback capable of providing these recievers with what they need. Collins may have a cannon but he throws more interceptions then passes.

the downside of this trade is it looks like they are losing thier top linebacker. They need help on defense. But when it comes to raw talent, let's not put Porter in the same category as Moss, Owens, or Harrison.

I agree that in the first part of the year, when gannon went down and things looked bad he, and many of the raider, just shut it down and then, like you said he turnned it up again to get a good contract. He is not moss, owens, harrison or even holt or bruce. And Minnesota: there other 3 recievers combined had less receptions than moss.
