Even in the backwoods where I live (100 miles north of Winnipeg, the coldest major city in north america)Interac is so widly used now that I don't even know what cash is anymore. I don't think I even withdraw $20 a week in cash from an ATM, and havn't for years. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING I buy is on my Interac card.
