i've sent an email to thehun advertising asking this about a month ago but never got a reply, i guess the guys are really busy!

correct me if i'm wrong, but i think The Hun uses a company that sells that space

and that company has hundreds of people buying ad space on numerous sites, not just The Hun's

the banners go into rotation and that is why you see different ones each day

i think he uses a 3rd party advertising co. right, but having those spots on a pool of other banners and not hun-exclusive ads sounds crazy

i think when you use Parney Galione you just put a banner rotator on your site and they do the rest

but i'm sure the hun can be selective with what type of banners are placed on his site

A top text link sells for $500.00 of if bought in conjunction with a banner
spot, $400.00.

The way it works is that you would be the top text link on a given day ( you
can select the day ) and you remain at the top of that days page for a year.

Obviously you will receive less hits as you move down the line, but the
first few days can be great.

Currently a top text link is generating between 80,000 and 100,000 click
thrus in the first couple of days of posting.

With multiple text link purchases, we also sell the 2 to 5 spot and the 6 to
15 spot.

Here is the break down.

IN THE 2 TO 5 SPOT:

3 text links for $1200.00 ( in the 2 to 5 spot )

10 text links for $3000.00. ( in the 2 to 5 spot )


IN THE 6 TO 15 SPOT:

10 text links for $2000.00. ( in the 6 to 15 spot )


TEXT LINK REQUIRMENTS:

A text link must go to a free pics page with at least 12 to 15 free pics on
it.
No exit consoles, redirects or blind links are permitted.

When getting into multiple text links bear in mind that we need a new URL
each time so that it doesn't show up as previously "clicked on" on peoples
browsers and we need a new gallery each time.

Text link advertising can start anytime.

100,000 click thrus to sponsor or just on the text link?

I get 100,000 on a non-paid Hun listing in a single day.

For anyone that has been posted on The Hun...what percentage of the clicks to your page from The Hun actually click on one of your sponsors? Nedder you said you get 100,000 clicks from a Hun listing...so how many go to your sponsor from there? And then does it convert well?

converts when you know what youre doing.. but there are surely guys nt makeing a signle buck from him lol

Can I put my amateur pages banner there?

on average...80-100,000 first day pageviews, CTR 0.7-1.3% = 4 sales 1st day, over time usually levels out to around 8 or 9 sells TOTAL as the traffic drops off over a period of a month.

Sad part is, when I've got a really good converting template, the site generally won't get posted. My templates that convert worse, have less advertising, and get picked up may be 25% of the time.

I'm no genius, but the 4-8 sales per listing still turns a profit after bandwidth so I keep submitting. I think the conversion sucks, but I know if I could just get one of my better galleries listed, it would do alot better. Unfortunately, I'd have to sell ALOT of signups to break even for a paid listing.
