I don't know about the other guys, but I know Joe from amacontent pretty well, and have known him since he came into this industry....he is not a crook or scammer......he has always been nothing but completely up front and honest with his business and to the people around him

Long ago (a year?) I bought 100 scenes from Simon (very cheap).
They were encoded horribly so I never was able to use them for what I wanted.
A couple months ago he mentioned in a thread that he had re-encoded and customers could get new versions (of what they already bought) for $100.
What the hell, it would be nice to be able to use them when the time is right.

I got the replacement CDs and set them aside. Eventually, I had a look and the first 2 disks I viewed had sound sync problems.

I told him this did me no good and I would like to return these "replacements" for a refund.

He told me to go through all the CDs (50 or so, with no labels) and tell me which ones were faulty. WTF? I don't have time for that. The whole reason I sent an extra $100 was to avoid dealing with useless scenes.

At which point he began insulting me and telling me that I must have fallen on hard times to be crawling back and asking for cash.

That was my last contact.

Not "scamming," but certainly not the way I would do business.

I had similar experience, but I didnt ask for refund, I bought just 16-20 movies I think, was not worth the time.

When you buy content from SoBeGirl you get the opportunity to return any content set you do not liike.

Right now there are 350 different shoots to choose from. If you buy one that you do not like just replace it for another free of charge. What could be eaiser than that.

For example, Pick up the 10 set special for 99 bucks and let's say you do not like 3 of them for one reason or another. You can change them out with 3 new ones free of charge.

I don't know I never had any problems with him, actually I had more trouble with high profile content producers from this board (who everyone thinks are very professional) than him. The best quality I like was that he was very punctual, he said he will shoot the video in one day and he did, in my book that's doing good business.

You agreed that yes, portions of what I purchased were faulty. Of course, you put the responsibility on your customer to go through 100 scenes on unmarked disks, take notes as to what scenes were faulty, and then report back to you on the status of YOUR product line to apply for a refund on faulty scenes. Shouldn't that be your responsibilty? And shouldn't you have told your customer in advance that "Some of the scenes are poorly encoded and may not be usable"??? (Or better yet, NOT DISTRIBUTED the faulty scenes.)

**Keep in mind, this was $100 spent on FIXES for the scenes I had already purchased for $1000.

I'm sure there are people on this board who have time to go through and watch all the content they buy, re-edit it, fix audio problems, etc. And for people with more time than money, you may be a good content provider.

But in my experience, you are neither a good person nor a trustworthy businessman.

for what its worth. Simon did my right. He also went out of his way to send me mini dvs because i like to encode it myself because i have also ran into problems in the past with people doing poor encoding jobs.

now back to the trannies.....
