Negative... as it stands now, your ads are going to 20% webmasters and 80% trolls.. I'd pay a higher premium to access a group of serious webmasters.

why not approve every person from now on visually - and have in the application form some text area asking the person to prove they work in adult in some way.

Like only sending the password to an email address posted on an adult site, effectively guaranteeing that only adult webmasters get accounts.

Why do many people think this is a hard job to do?

It'll take much less time than gallery reviewing, and even that is easy. Not like there's 200 new members daily on GFY.

view new members > check their website/job > (dis)approve

If GFY has 50.000 members now, that'd mean only ~30 new approvals a day. If it has WAY more members, I'll shut up ;)

i was surprised when visiting a surfer friend his computer has GFY as his homepage. and to browse the board now you NEED a login, kinda makes me wonder. i should have wrote down his login to get his ass banned. cant people find a surfer board? or chat on AOL like normal simpletons do?

Can't a user just be verified by their email address? It's a no-brainer to say this user from webmaster (at) SomePornSite.com is less likely to be a surfer that another user from dickhead (at) hotmail.com .

I know what you are saying Peaches, but if the views were proven to be all webmasters/support businesses for adult, then lens could charge more, and I think that most advertizers would pay more.

Doesn't mean they are being moderated.
They just turned of auto-aprove and don't accept new members.

have you tried to register a new nick?

i tried twice...first one was with a obvious fake nick...got declined

second one was more of a real name with a totally different email...got approved
