i'm in the godaddy console now and all i can do is change the settings for the domain to his nameservers, email contacts, etc but can't you actually move the domain into his account?

What you do is...

Go in...click the domain...Change contact...

Type in their contact info and their email...

They will get a email where they can grab the domain and put it in their account

call them. they have 24 hour phone support and will walk you thru it. simplest way is for you to "push" the domain into new owners GD account... if they don't already have an acct then GD will automatically set one up.

but make sure to call GD first... they are very helpful.

and congrats.

Yo, eMonk. Hi, pal.

First, UNLOCK the domain. Then use "Change Account."

Hit me up on ICQ if you're still stuck.

Cheers.
