Also remember to put the memory card in.

I forgot once and shot half the night without one. For some reason the canon d-30 acted just like as if the CF card was in. No warning no nothing.

Needless to say I was pissed because I had (or thought i had) some good shots. :-(

other stupid things i do include keeping the dangling lenscap in the frame of the picture, or putting my finger in the pic.
