    IRS / Social security number question?

    Hey guys can anybody help me...

    I am a foriegn citizen living in a different country, not the united states. I registered a nevada corporation and i need to get bank account etc. for it but it requires me to get a social security #.

    How do i go about this? Does anybody know the proccess for foreign people to apply for social security numbers? Thanks

      You should use your EIN # not your social

          I think you need a social security # to aquire an EIN #

              Most company formation companies will not obtain an EIN # for you without a SSN, and the same is true for SSA's online EIN obtainment service. But... if you do it over fax directly to SSA you can leave that field blank.

                  But if you insist on getting yourself a SSN, you can apply for one next time you visit the US (they will want your passport and a valid I-94 entry form)
