      Hell yeah! I know a message board that does this and charges people $10 to register. When they're banned they have to pay the 10 bux again to get their nick back. It works very well.

              not sure about the charge, (I'm still against it) but the requrement by its self should scrare away enough of them, thinking they might get charged. Maybe a yearly fee in a small amount would be good and stop so many fake nicks.

                          The board I mentioned charges a one time fee, unless you're banned. Then you have to pay again. The only way you can't come back is if you do something to get perma banned. But the $10 charge keeps SOME people from making jackasses of themselves in any way that would get them banned.
