May 14, 2005 -- A federal judge blasted DJ "Crazy Cabbie" for making bizarre on-air boasts that he didn't pay his taxes during the Howard Stern Show as he sentenced the radio personality to a year in prison for failing to give Uncle Sam his due.

jesus - he's got enough mental issues already, he'll freak out in prison and wind up doing something stupid and getting more time. people think Stern creates alot of the drama on his show but most of it is real - K.C. flipped out and went into a mental hospital and is now in California trying to rebuild his life as a standup comedian.

I moved my sites to Vacares Hosting. I've saved money, my hair is thicker, lost some weight too! Thanks Sly!

He wasn't all that BIG,just in shape and no one really knows why he left the show for real.
His stand up act is very poor. (been there seen it) He did have major issues with girls on the show; never liked any, so that's why he was labled gay.

That's crazy, I stopped watching for a couple of months so I missed him leaving. I just saw Gary and Doug doing most of the mic stuff and that limo driver now on the show more. The guy who goes to scores a lot.

yeah KC had/has a gambling problem. There were a couple of shows a while back where they talked about this. He was playing somekind of online poker and hit a royal flush and won around 300K the site was going to pay him $4,000 a week until it was paid off ( basically about a year and a half ) he was very happy and was going to get a new apartment and pay off some bills and get his life together. He went back to the site and ended up gambling it all away before he ever got one check. So he had already spent some of it before he even had it and now was having to do terrible things like babysit bettlejuice on weekend trips and stuff like that to make extra money.

I guess the stress of all of that and his gambling problem got to him so he checked into a place to get his head together and then moved to try to start a life away from the show.

Am I the only one who finds it strange that the only reason the IRS figured out that he hadn't paid his taxes is because an "agent happened to tune in to K-Rock and heard Crazy Cabbie ranting about his crime in May 2002"?

Don't they have better systems than that for knowing if someone hasn't paid taxes?

they got him on not claiming money.

when you dont claim money earned and the IRS finds out about that money your fucked.

people have not paid taxes on millions of dollars, others havent paid in decades and never did a day of jail time.

Your very right I had a friend who didnt file for 5 yrs, he filed and set up a strict payment plan with the irs but no jailtime. They dont want you in jail, you cant pay from jail but if you have a big mouth they will make a example of you .
