I don't buy Vaio because the name bugs me

The same is true for Sony Wega....I don't like the name Wega, it bugs me. Is it pronounced Way-ga or Weh-ga? Ahhhh! Fuck you Sony!

Another name that bugs me is Bvlgari, why is there a "v" in there? Maybe it's some old Italian person's name, but it just bugs me.

I can feel my insanity overtaking me, what's that Tat Tat? You want to be my friend? No!

I've owned two of the tiny ones, an SR series and an old 505, loved them both.

I just got a A130B right before Christmas - works great. I do need to upgrade the memory from 256K to at least 712K...and i don't care for the touchpad pointer...but i hate that on all laptops - gotta get a mouse to plug in.

I have a viao and 4 inspirons
-Dells are on 24/7
-Viao is on 90% of the day

Both run independent underfans, yet the viao keeps shutting off on me.
They usually shut down when the temp is too high. I'm really not too sure what it is, but when the adapter is propped up properly it stays on. I also recently had the D key pop out on me. I'm not sure if it's bad luck, or just a shitty laptop ... you be the judge.

I'd say it's a good laptop, but not for hardcore useage.
(I probably typed no more than 1000 words with it)

I've used this vaio for over a year. It's one of the desktop replacement monsters - 16in screen plus full size keyboard. Had no problems with it, but I think the build quality is below that of Dell & IBM. But the specs of the Vaio's tend to be higher...

Dre here at DWHS just got one and it's great, fan is loud, battery dies quick but the screen is ridiculously vivid.

I'm jealous, my Compaq doesn't stack up.
