yeah don't know if it's me pissing people off, or someone who works for us in here, a few of our people and contractors have pissed people off in the pass...

we had an older ip hit with a similar attack, didnt go offline, slowed it down tho... only reason it was still accessable is the fact we had some load balancing setup to distribute traffic...

the traffic bill wasnt too cool tho :/

aparently 3com have some good solutions - tipping point or something... i should really look into it...

doesn't matter how tight your security is on the box.... it's how well you can filter the ddos upstream ;)
