hmmm, have you tried an image map? is it really necessary for you to define links in imageready? do you use dreamweaver or any other wysiwyg editor or notepad?

If you're trying to do what I think you're trying to do... and if you are slicing the image. I think you can do it in Image Ready, or even just edit the html code. I have dreamweaver but you can't add a link to a spot or word on an image.

yes you can, see in the properties panel, click on the lightblue square below the "Map" section, define the area, when you define the area the properties window will switch to "hotspot" add the link on the link field and you're ready to go. (just in case if you can't see the map area, double click on any gray area on the background of the properties window to expand it)
