i was willing to give nascar one shot at making a fan out of me on their biggest event of the year. so i sat down and watched the daytona 500 and i have to say it was about as exciting as watching golf. i'm sure it's fun to be in the race just like playing golf can be fun but it sure was boring as hell to watch on tv. so i gave it one good shot and i'm not a fan. however i still like rally and formula 1 racing for real racing action, not rednecks driving in an oval for 4 hours.
