How many type-ins do you think this domain gets?
If overture says 1300 when its typed xxxx.com Cant say what name it is.

overture is telling you how manyt searches it is getting...

you can register sex-with-farm-animals.com and it might get 100,000,000 searches in overture...but no one is going to type that in

I know all about how overture works. Its a name someone owns that is not in use and its a great name. I dont want to say it so everyone can attack this person with offers and fuck me.

Just want your opinions preferably people who owned type-ins before.

I remember looking at a traffic name a while ago and the ratio seemed to be about 0.7. . Therefore 1300 on oveture would give about 900 type-ins.

I only tested this once however

Unfortunately, Overture with extension is not always an exact science. There is no formula, just approximation.

I have one domain that returns 90 results searching in Overture with Extension. This domain gets around 50 typeins a day. I have another domain with 100 results in Ovt /w TLD and it gets nothing. Then I have other domains that are generic with ZERO results searching Overture with the extension. But they get some nice typein traffic.

To answer the original question...

Unless someone or some program was doctoring the results with excessive searches, then the domain probably receives a very large amount of typeins per day. I would venture to guess 500+ ...could be more could be less.

Any surfer who searches for a domain name with the extension, probably will also try to put it in their address bar.
