Congrats bro... Nice pics...

Oh fuckit, someone else posted a correction so I'll post them here:
http://www.trickedmedia.com/SOS/sample1 copy.jpg http://www.trickedmedia.com/SOS/sample2 copy.jpg http://www.trickedmedia.com/SOS/sample3 copy.jpg http://www.trickedmedia.com/SOS/sample4 copy.jpg http://www.trickedmedia.com/SOS/sample6 copy.jpg Here's a Photoshop procedure to accomplish this: 1) Reduce the saturation of the yellow channel by 70% (the photographer neglected to set white balance for the available lighting, which appears to have been less than what was ideal. This step will correct for much of this). 2) Duplicate the image, and change the duplicate to a grayscale. (Image-->Mode-->Grayscale) 3) Reselect the original image, and Select --> Load Selection --> duplicate filename, Channel=Gray, Inverted 4) With the original image still selected, Edit-->Fill-->50% Gray, Color Dodge, 50% Opacity. 5) Finally, reduce the overall saturation (Master Channel) by 10%, and then the Red Channel by %10. Done. |
pics look great, she looks to be in pretty good shape too :)

Nice shots, just have to work on the lighting :)

It is definately a FIRST, but I hope it will not be your last. For a first, it was pretty good.

You've done a great job considering that this was your first job. :thumbsup

these are great firsts! your stuff will get better as the lighting is tweaked and/or photoshop adjustments to make up for lighting that is lacking. great job! :thumbsup

Yet Another Photoshop Approach
Lots of good tips so far...wish I had them when I was first starting. I'm still pretty new, but for what it's worth, here is another quick and dirty Photoshop re-touch (absent a color card, I used the white of the picture frame on the wall as a guide for the light temperature):
http://www.asiandivagirls.com/foogie/sample2adg.jpg Other things I did was some skin correction work (a little too much on the forearm/hand), and I removed the tuft of hair popping up from her head (that was a subjective decision, since to some the tuft of hair adds a naturalness to the pose). NOTE: I use a Mac, so hopefully the color doesn't look to whack on PCs. Good luck as you move forward, ADG Webmaster |
