I love AdSense, I've been building mainstream site with lots of contents on various subjects, no ads, no affiliate programs. Just AdSense at the bottom and at the top of the page.
Average earning per click: $0.42

Targetting is amazing, bids are amazing but they owe me a lot of fucking money. I was told I am sending "invalid clicks" (whatever this is) and that I am banned from the program without payment. I was not doing anything illegal beside sending the google traffic to my site

This also happened to few of my so called SEO friends so beware people...

Also avg about 10-20 clicks a day with > $0.15/click

i have it on a mainstream site of mine (wedding planning site), lately its been making me some decent $$$, i guess alot of women got engaged for Xmas, New Years and Valentines Day cause my clicks have shot up dramatically this year.

How do you figure?

At an average of 20 clicks a day and my clicks are a min of $0.15 and 8 sites thats $25 etxtra a day with no work involved. Not bad.

Say I had a couple decent domains that I wouldn't mind developing if I already knew that they had decent earnings potential... is there a way I can find out how much Ad Sense would be willing to pay for my ads? The particular site I have in mind is a region specific tourism site.

I think only clicksor and overture tell you what a maxmim bid is and etc.
Best way to find out is to try and develop them
And domains mean nothing. Just a lot of text text text content and traffic

I have 8 that do that and 2 other sites pulling in 5x more with adsense, its a nice extra income.

And sly if you are looking to just put a site and throwing up content and adsense, domains dont mean shit.

Because a few posts up he said he had 8 (so $25 a day according to him) ;). But don't get me wrong, I like adsense and usually run a ctr at around 4-5% (no shit, had some help from a friend getting there, but still :P) and when I've had them going I've done great money with them. He just seemed to get excited over 20clicks, better than 12clicks I guess ;)

If you are going to go ahead and develop a site and brand it, then maybe flat-rate adverts would be better than adsense

ANd odin... +/- $100 extra a day for a set of sites taht run themsselves isnt too bad.

I just bought/got a list of the highest paying adsense keywords. Going to build some sites around that and see how i do.

I have a few mainstream sites doing nothing and I put ad sense on a couple. The one site that is getting the most payouts, key words is 'executive search'. I am assuming that surfers just find my site and are bored with it and click the ads.

Afraid to put more content up..
