i'm lucky to get 5-10 sales off of 300,000 hits to my galleries.

OR am i an idiot and this choker traffic goes right to the tour and bypasses the gallery??

Depends what your galleries look like, what type of traffic you are sending - ie, is it filterd niche traffic or is iut just general traffic..

Lots of things can account for bad Ratio from gallery..

With no notice about 50k a day. Nice thing about the resell system is that the sellers see your order and hourly force so they can increase the amount of traffic when they see the demand for it.
