The proper expression is "COULDN'T CARE LESS"

See, if you coulnd't care less, it means that you care so little, it would not be possible to care any less than you already do care, which is to say, you don't care at all.

Saying "could care less" implies that you actually do care and that you care at a level that is above not caring.

Anyway, regarding the judgement, probably uncollectible, however, a DEFAULT judgement isn't really a warning to anyone. It doesn't much comment on the merits of the case. It simply means he didn't respond, you told your side of the story and the judge felt it was at least somewhat plausible and awarded you a default judgement.

If you do however collect, does that mean you will have money to pay new destiny if they win their case?

:)

DAMN!!!

Darn good question there Jeff.

I hope everyone sees the irony here, besides JMM of course.

MikeB- you are comparing Ron to Bebe Ruth? Did I get that right?

Wonder how many of those email names came from homegrownvideo.com

Suchomski told XBiz from his residence in Champaign that he ?knows nothing about the suit,? and that he was ?unaware of any legal filing.?

?I haven?t been on GFY for a very, very long time,? Suchomski said, ?and I never offered for sale any list.?

I got a load of optin email addresses - Can someone please steal them as soon as possible? Please, I'm desperate - I need some disk space.

rml1608 02-18-2005 10:26 PM

I'm not reading this whole B/S thread half of it filled with the same replies.. Here is my take that I DOUBT any of you even mentioned.. he was awared for the profit made off the list, $1500.00 :)

Ron, if U collect more than $50,000 after all this time atleast you did two things...

1) Broke even (or at least close to) on atty fees - and got 10 X what he sold them for.. Shame is if you sold it to right people you would of got $500K back in the days and the list would of been treated properly...

2) Made DAMN CLEAR - Don't fuck with ya man.... One of the few I met at conferences (was miami, I think 98 or 99) and you weren't at all what I expected you to be, but I see you as a ruthless vigilante :) Now go get some more and save us poor folks the money of setting examples, you may not get any money but this ass has to file bankruptcy and show a 2.8 mil judgement on his credit report for AT LEAST 7 years.. ;)

I don't think it was a waste.

They had the money to do it and it might have been worth doing on principle alone.

Furthermore, by doing a press release, it gives exposure to the company and also sends a message to anyone wanting to do this.

I'm certain they knew that they won't be able to collect the money before they even got a lawyer involved. But that guy is now fucked for life and I think that's good enough a reason.

Sosa 02-18-2005 10:37 PM

he got what he deserved

rml1608 02-18-2005 10:51 PM

Uhmmmm, when did CE and HomeGrown break apart?

Boy am I behind the times
