Neither are very attractive offers for affiliates when there are plenty of other places that will pay more.

No, you don't get it. The exit trial still pays out $25.

I didn't see your post. I knew you were thinking champagne, I was looking for a link to show you.
As I said in my first post, I think anyone mocking you adding a bonus to what you are already paying is an idiot. :winkwink:
I also know about the wine because 1964 is a year I would collect if it was worth it. (lots of good shit was born that year) :winkwink:
I have a bottle that was recorked at the chateaux that I think might be worth drinking but otherwise, its just a very cool novelty.

I don't agree, but I don't promote a whole lot of per sign up. And we relatively few affiliates that push us that way. The bulk of our business is rev share. But it's one way to gauge the confidence of a rev share in it's abilities to retain. If they are willing to go into the red a little bit on PPS, I always feel like i'll do better with them long term if I do rev share.

Most programs make a decent amoutn of extra money through cross sells, upsells and members area ads... so it was just surprising to see that you're able to make it work on a 50-65% rev share and a pps that works out to 83% of initial.

I know different sites, different traffic, different types of affiliates... what works for one program doesn't necessarily mean it will work for another. But if your rev share is that great... why wouldn't you want to offer the webmaster a little more on per sign up ... and get them to take that... and keep more of the money for yourself long term ? unless of course the rebill rate isn't that great and you just can't afford to do it

I can afford it and I got some reasons on why I do't I think 25 bucks myself on a sale is great... it's 25 bucks for pushing traffic... and they keep that even if the surfer charges back... or whatever... I notice alot of the bigger programs even if they do pay on a trial they only give you the money if the surfer stays... it's like webmasters like seeing stats not checks... I say look at the checks not the stats... but if you want to hear my reasoning behing my madness hit me up ICQ...

not bad at all :thumbsup

Certainly the payout should take into account costs (default and fraud included). That's true of rev share as well. But there are less risks with it. Just givign you my 2 cents ... as a possible affiliate ... I see a per signup lower than that join price and I start to wonder why.

no doubt.. I am all abot open fourm... and some stuff you can hit me up on we are very generous on things... such as working deals out... if you are serious about sending decent traffic this way I will work a deal with you you can't refuse
