Doing this job without my @home service sucks!!!
ARGGGHHH!!! Called up the good ol' DSL provider this morning and reluctantly ordered the service. Don't know which is better, DSL or dial-up?!?!

Yay @home! Sheet mon! I have MediaCom@Home. Excite shut off the grids for AT&T (but Mediacom bought them out here) and accidentally shut off our internet access. OOPS! I was out for 18 hours. I think I'll buy a dial-up modem incase this happens again. Does anybody know if there is still "Free" dialup internet access out there?

Well, to answer my own question, Juno is free and Netzero offers 10 hours a month. Maybe they are owned by the same company though, the sites look the same: http://www.juno.com/ http://www.netzero.com/
Maybe I'll invest in a local provider. As for the DSL vs. Dialup, DSL is faster! |

I have dial uo access with my adsl connection....so, when their afdl service goes down, I still can use my dial up

@HOME is the best
