Thanks Rand for the info...

True, companies change with staff or even the CEO, CFO, COO etc. can be changed...although Chris was like a major share holder if not the biggest? Also he played a big role for Epoch. He made the final decisions right?

Rand, Can these changes effect any any of companie business decisions? What was Chris's main role and whats going to happen now?

Thanks for your feedback....please let us know....

Raffi

I agree, its seems that way to me....

And as far as the "Everything is fine" quotes, how many times have we heard that?

I THINK it is OK with them, but I just be 100% sure and that makes nervous.

Rui 02-17-2005 03:36 PM

Secret, a.]

Everyone has their share of secrets and some may be dirty.... I think someone over at Paycom knows exactly what I mean.....!!!!

MarkTiarra 02-17-2005 04:36 PM

Good post. When we have an executive change we just whack a guy.

My 2 cents...

I have dealt personally with 19 other public companies, and one thing is a constant with all of them.

"When management degrades or upgrades (and I'm not saying it has gone either way), the company goes with it."

I sold out major positions in companies I took public when key management left for whatever reason. From the looks of it though, Mr. Mallick remains a large shareholder...which also has meaning.

magicmike 02-17-2005 09:42 PM

Yeah... Mallick did a lot of good for the company, but lets hope this only helps us all for the best.

Raven 02-18-2005 11:10 AM

Klixxx has always been a great supporter of Epoch and has enjoyed a phenomenal relationship with them...

Not only that, but my own sites process with Epoch/Paycom...

While I understand that we, as site owners, respond with a knee jerk reaction when rumours of ANY kind emerge, it's important that we take a deep breath.....

Because of so many billing companies going down for one reason or another, we are sensitive to any air movement...whether true or not true.

As far as I'm concerned, as a site owner....if Rand says Epoch is okay....then it is. Period.

If Klixxx can do anything for you, Rand...let us know. We're there for you!

Officially, all that has happened, and I do mean ALL that has happened, is that Chris Mallick has departed as CEO of Paycom. The two guys who've been at Epoch from day one, Clay Andrews and Joel Hall, are still here doing what they've always done. They are looking out for their business and their clients with a long-term objective on all matters. As many of you know, Epoch has always taken on the role of fighting for the longevity of this industry. Those same guiding principals are still in place.

Sometimes a change in management is what is necessary for a company to grow.

For the record....

1) Epoch has not incurred any fines.
2) Epoch's merchant banking relationships are excellent.
3) Epoch's day-to-day operations remain unchanged.
4) Epoch's plans to expand services in the EU remain unchanged.
5) Epoch has not increased scrubbing.
6) Epoch's portfolio is strong and within all card association rules.
7) Epoch is fully committed to long term objectives.

Those people who feel the need to start rumors of any nature in regard to Epoch or its operations are not doing anyone any favors. The relationships of this industry are important and "Chicken Little's" need to get checked. I can say without any hesitation that everything at Epoch is fine. Any rumor serves some ulterior motive. If anything said anywhere does not agree with the points I made above, it is simply false. End of story.

Really guys, this is a management decision. It happens every day in business. It's nothing more. Business as usual.

Thanks Rand :thumbsup

txl 02-18-2005 02:35 PM

exactly, if there wasn't more to this whole situation, as shemp questioned, there would have been a press release before the rumors fly. Instead almost a week after the fact it is found/confirmed that the CEO has left the company.

Yup, same spin from iBill. But these guys are suppose to be "different" and they are my processor, so they had better be different. :)

Ridiculous that Paycom has to post an official thread responding to some jackass tool posting some rumors. Posting harmful rumors should be an automatic ban.

Found? Confirmed? Did it ever occur to you that maybe both sides of the equation waited until they were ready to make an announcement? Maybe they made that announcement after they had called their larger clients tell them about the situation?

If it didn't, maybe it should have.
