No offence krl, but you are always namedropping the same three domains (i guess thats all you would really need to own to be considered successful) and one of those domains you yourself don't even own. Also, you seem to always claim to be doing the latest greatest thing but noone ever see's it, men.com television advertising, etc etc. But anyway, not being a dickhead, and I think your legit and you certainly know what your doing, just letting you know what your board personna looks like at times.

What's the purpose for KRL to demonstrate his business on the largest adult board? If he was running affiliate programs you would possible know it because he could benefit out of it. Otherwise the only outcome of that would be having people trying to copy his ventures. I know many webmasters that post on gfy that don't share on public their sites n' their business activities.

I'm really a very low key shy guy. This fricking Men.com deal got so much attention and honestly Odin, its not my style at all. I was just chatting on icq with another GFYer about this same thing.

If you saw me at a party, I'm the type that will sit in the corner and talk to a handful of people all night long. I'm not the type to start dancing on tables at all.

I also don't talk about any other deals cause why should I? Just add more fuel to the fire for people to bash my designs and sites. No way.

I like doing things simple. I'm very frugal. I'm not into ritz and glitz. So my sites are plain vanilla most of the time. I know they might not be academy award winners, but all I care about is that they make a profit.

I'll admit it hurts when people say Men.com sucks. I really think it looks pretty nice now. I can't wait till our personals affiliate program launches. Maybe then people won't bash it as much if they are making money off the name too.

Rick and I do have a very nice deal together on the big porn domains. I've done biz with him now for 3 years and we've got even bigger deals on one word mainstream domains. I've learned a lot from him about buying and selling domains and consider him the sharpest domainer in the biz. I know he values me also cause everything we've done together has made money.

I am paraphrasing but the idea has stuck with me and I have it around the office somewhere as i printed it out. Life is not a sprint it is a marathon. KRL got his hands on some of the pearls of webfather's domain collection (over 3000 last I heard and still growing). Webfather is way to savvy to give up control over his babies to a "joke." And it didn't start with men.com, that was only the most public.

the domains are 2-4 figures over-rated these days... yes sure, lots of great sounding domains, but how much type-in traffic and profit will they actually make? Do you see sex.com, among the top traffic domains? Whereas domains similar to yahoo.com, google.com, kanoodle.com, etc. can be bought for 8 bucks.
