I think there is no "meaning" to life. We are here only by chance and by coincidence. People just want to believe that there "is a point" to life, or that they are here for a "reason", and religion serves to provide an explanation for all of that, but personally I don't believe in any of that. Everything is by chance, including our existence. I don't think there has to be a "meaning" per se for anything.
