alot of times, integrated chipsets don't support a secondary videocard. it's an either or situation, if you want the pci video card on disable the integrated in BIOS, if you want the integrated do nothing.

I'd say just get a PCI dual monitor card or scrap the MoBo and get one without onboard.

I think your problem is the integrated card - a PCI card should automatically bypass the intergrated card. Your best option is to get a card that supports 2 monitors - they aren't very expensive unless you want it for gaming as well.

The integrated card is the problem unfortunately. disable it and drop another pci card in.

or, just pick up a dual head card.

Go with a good dual card alot less headaches. You can get the 2 seperate cards to work but the speed difference might be a factor if your gaming.

seperate is better.
You'll probably find that the on-board is getting disabled when it detetcs another card. Check your BIOS settings to see if you can stop that.

Conversely, if your BIOS is telling the system that your on-board is an AGP card, then you're probably owned.

The best dualhead out there is the Nvidia geforcce 5600. Good processing power for games if you're that way inclined, and most definately affordable. Finally, it comes w/ dual digital out too. If you're using LCDs, you really, really want digital.
