Well.. It kind of comes down to choice. When it was just myself years ago I was more than happy with 8-15k a month. (I had some huge months but normally sat in the range)

As things grew and developed into a company, earning over 20k a month was easy. 10 joins a day isn?t hard.

If you are serious about your business and not new to the business.. 20k a month should be a cakewalk. Free traffic guys may have to work at it a little harder, but it just comes down to working your ass off and mastering your business.

That's not accurate. I didn't post on a messageboard or really talk to anyone online the first 4 years i was online. I went to one show during that time and it was a 15 min drive from my house. The only person I met at the show was my attorney that I use. I am self taught and developed my entire system(s) on my own.

I worked in my own little corner, trail and error and just a lot of experimenting. Working with others helps (networking), but it can also hurt you if you confuse networking with bullshiting. If you spending 3- 4 hours a day bullshitting then you are hurting yourself. IF you get to the point and make your time networking valuable then you it will help you. I would say more then 50% of the people here are bullshiting.

The other thing you people who want to make more money needs to realize is that the company you advertise for plays a major rule in how much money you can make. I have double and tripled my income over night just from changing where i am sending my traffic not from adding more traffic. You can send your traffic to site A and make $100 and then send it to site B and make $1,000. Don't think all companies are a like, not be any means.

i would make 20k a month but i spend all my money on crack and hookers, i mean the only reason i have net connection is because i steal it from my neighbours.

Internet skills are not the key to making money in the porn industry. A programmer can be hired for cents, people with "Internet Skills" are churning out of high school every week.

Try hiring a PORNOGRPAHER for the same money. If someone offered me $20K a month to work for them I would assume they meant part time. Not being arrogant just honest. The skill sI've aquired do not come with a two year course at college or working six months on a key board.

If you cannot answer that question yourself you will never make $20K a month.

want to get lots of traffic? find something that takes 1 minute to do and gets 4 clicks. do it 10,000 times a day.

If anyone wants to hire me for consulting, honestly, it's $500 an hour and I will give you max 10 hours a week. I can't program worth a lick and my web design is average at best. I can't fix a computer and have no clue how to do any server side work but i know how to make money.

Making $20 a month is not impossible or even unlikely. But it's not easy.

You need skills, application, talent and the ability to market. Do not cut corners, compromise or cheat.

Skills, do you have a skill that the world needs?

Application, are you prepared to work at it?

Talent, is the little ingredient that puts you above all the others doing the same as you.

Marketing, you may be God's gift to something but to make money you need the ability to sell yourself/product.

Cutting corners, there are few short cuts to success. Simply because others are taking that route.

Compromise, stay true to your beliefs. Learn as you go but be true to yourself.

Cheating, look around you at the cheats. Most of them could not raise $200 if they had to. Doing one deal makes you one profit. Doing the same deal time and time again makes you rich.

Look at me and if you were here think back 3 years when I arrived. I was told by all the experts my content is not needed, I did not understand the Internet so would not succeed and my attitude was not right for selling to Adult Webmasters. Most of those experts are now gone or out of the content business.

I stayed true to the above.

if you have schedule and work on various things it's achievable. Fairly easy? It depends.

Think out of the box people think out of the box. Not once have i ever done anything webmaster related stated in this thread. You find some thing run with it al lthe way to the bank

It's about time a positive thread about makin' loot.

Theory is good, but the practical needs to be laid out. $5 Submissions has some good tips as well as several others.

Practically, making $20k a month is swell as long as it doesn't cost $19k a month to do it.

Ironically for me, less traffic means more money. I could never figure that out.

I've always done well with SEs. Don't have to be at the top to do the best. Yet I get fine tuned targeted traffic which translates into solid, dependable sales and rebills. If I went affiliate I would easily make well over $50k a month but it's too much a pain for now. Maybe by end of this summer. Tested it a few years ago and it shot off like a rocket.

I think you guys are right that if you have a good product/service and keep focused you have no choice but to expand. Be true to your resellers and customers and be diverse. Stick with the people and companies that are true and reliable. If a guy can't keep his word or you see him or her screw over someone else then cut them the fuck off.
