Agreed, it's one of my favorites. However, it's one of those shows where if you try to explain the comedy to someone who hasn't seen it, it doesn't come off as funny.

I love the show
it really helps if you've seen a lot of episodes of COPS to get certain in-jokes and references...

my favorite moment was when Dangle got his bike stolen...and when he thought he was picking up on a guy and ended up getting maced and having his wallet stolen

That's a good one. Wasn't that one on the other day?

I think my favorite is either the 10 commandments concreted on the lawn & they had to remove it, or when they changed the rule from not allowing the police officers to have mustaches to requiring it amongst everyone including the women.

The 10 Commandments one was hilarious at the end when they had the "Top 10 Reasons being a cop is cool" or something, #1 was "Getting to drive around with a trunk full of drugs and a backseat full of hookers."

I bought the season 1 DVD. The gay hooker on roller skates is so funny. His name is Nick Swarsdon and you have to catch is stand-up. He's hilarious.
