I just fell down the stairs :(

So one of my Rottweilers, the little female, had surgery on her knee about 5 weeks ago. She isn't allowed to walk up or down stairs yet, so she has to be carried. On the way down the stairs this morning, I stumbled and because I had a dog in my arms couldn't grab anything. Landed on my hip and leg on one side, hurt like hell. The dog's fine, she thought it was a game.

I know how much everyone here enjoys misery of others, so I thought I'd share for your enjoyment.

The stairs are toughing it out... Not everyday that a 200 pound guy carrying a 90 pound dog smashes in to you! You're right, poor stairs!

OUCH! I know (unfortunately) what you are talking about.

In December I was walking down the stairs and appparently missed a step and took a head long dive down the stairs to the bottom where fortunately (grin) my head stopped the fall by hitting the heating vent! Spent a couple of days in the hospital for that one.

Hope you get better soon! (And the doggies too!)
