    WinXP: Someone help me! PLEASE!

    Ok, WHAT THE FUCK?!?!

    I lost my ability to lay into keys. I like to type long ass replies in ICQ, or on this board, and then lay into the 'backspace' key and erase it all.

    However yesterday as I was laying into the 'shift' key a message popped up. That same message used to pop up in Win2k Pro, and I would just close the window, and nothing would happen.

    Well, after I closed it yesterday in WinXP, it cut off my ability to lay into keys. I have to hit the 'backspace' each time for each letter. Also it fucked up my arrows. I can't just hold those down anymore.

    I got that eror message back up, and played with some of the settings but still, there is nothing there that says "disable this retarded fucked up feature"

    The settings are basically, "Turn this feature on" and "turn this feature on, and slow it down" WHAT THE FUCK??!?!

    Does anyone know how to fix XP? (and no, I can't install Win2k over this machine, although I'd love to, and no I can't format C: )

              check your "accessability" settings. sounds like you enabled the feature that stops key repeating - designed for people who can't type very well (they let their fingers stay on the keys too long for example).

              there's also a "shiftkeys" thing which, when you press shift enough, enables a mode where you can press shift once, let go, and then press a key - designed for people who can't press two keys at the same time.

                  I hate XP. I really do, but after using MACs for 3 years. I'd use XP in the blink of an eye. I hate MAC even more that I hate [Labret].

                  I worked in an office for three years where MACS had to be restarted all the time. I swear I heard that lame ass "wwwwwwhhhhooooooaaaaa" sound at start up at least once an hour. But MAC users just accept it as normal. I kinda feel bad for them having been suckered into such a bad system, and then they feel the need to suck all their friends in. "Hey I got fucked, so should you"

                  Maybe that's why I hate XP so much is because it reminds me of MAC.
