pornsuite contacted me finally on ICQ, and we resolved any problems we had with each other. We both let our tempers get to us, but I believe he is happy now..

We believe in offering our customers full support, and working with them till they are happy. So we shouldn't see any flame wars any more I am hoping

I've been offered $2000 for a script that I coded that had no documentation, no website, no promotion, and it was not available to the public... Custom software is very expensive -- because a programmer's time is worth a lot of money. Good programmers make as much as doctors or lawyers. You get what you pay for -- and sorry to tell you -- $2000 for a piece of custom software is dirt cheap. This is perfect example of someone underestimating the value of a programmer's time -- this could have been avoided w/ a contract.

Its not a script, its a pure C module written on top of our custom webserver

So its very complicated, the reason we normally charge 10grand for it is people realize that, and they realize that they aren't getting some canned product with an installer, like homefree.

But if you want the most features, cheat protection, and power. Complicated is the only way to go

That zfreehost asshole fucked me over as well. I notified him allready 2 weeks ago about the 404 redirects and they didn't give me an answer. Only thing they did was closing my account. (yeah they left the galleries online but I can't login anymore.. )
Okay.. I have a one way ticket to Afganistan for this asshole.. make it a return ticket if he fix everything and stop the 404's :-)

Basically freebsd is currently choking if the connection queue goes over 300 connections.. Your increase in traffic is why its all of a sudden. After spending 6 hours fucking with freebsd, we are trying to write a work around.. as well as completely update your system to the latest freebsd.

btw the reason its written ontop our own webserver and he hosts elsewhere, is our webserver is a custom piece of software like apache. Without source, there isnt much anyone could do without it.

Over 5% cpu may be bad for a cgi process or something similiar that uses fork, but when one process is doing everything its not so bad
