I got a very diverse taste. It's easier to say what I dislike.

That would be metal, country and Christian music.

good charlotte actually has catchy songs though... i.e. lifestyles of the rich and famous which was a massive hit

simple plan sounds like a bunch of people put together by 12 year old girls

I listen to almost everything, I'm not a fan of gospel or tons of loud rap that says fuck or ****** over and over but I love the lighter dance stuff. My cd collection ranges from the 80's Freestyle 1 hit wonders and faves (Stevie B, Stephanie, Collage, Denine) to the metal (slayer, metallica, metal church, megadeth) to the more theatrical stuff (savatage, overkill, manowar) and the I hate men section (tori amos, melissa etheridge, natalie merchant), classic rock (zeppelin, floyd, the dead, eagles, clapton) to present favorites (rammstein, godsmack, korn, disturbed) and I like to mix it up with a lil Tim McGraw, Reba, Usher, Lil Kim, DMX, Rob Zombie, Type O Negative, Live... basically my neighbors think I have multiple personalities, cause I can't seem to decide what the fuck I want to listen to! lol ;)

I can listen to most anything but country or rap.

I think they should be as strict with carding kids for explicit music as they are alcohol or cigarettes. I blame it about 50% for the current generation of ungrateful, selfish, illiterate & disrespectful youth... the rest of the blame goes to the parents who think it is perectly OK for the kids to be emulating the "hoochies" and "pimps" and blasting the cRap half their waking day... Then again, if they enforced the laws against contributing to the delinquency of minors it would eliminate 90+% of the market for the music

well, i've been a piano player (acoustic) for 45 years into jazz and other stuff.

lately i've been playing mostly 40's stuff, nat king cole, diana krall, carlos jobim, norah jones, paul simon, carole king, luther vandross, james taylor, bette midler, and a ton of other stuff.

mostly dig jazzy blues ballad stuff.
