    I hate police officers sooooo much

    2 squad cars and 1 suv cop to pull me over. I had to get out and stand behind the trunk and get patted down all on one of the busiests highways in this area.

    Then this suv is slowing down looking at the scene and laughing so i wave at him and say yea yea real funny so the cop talking to me yells HEY thats an off duty police officer like i care

    I was alittle angry when he first pulled me over i threw my wallet on the dash as he was pulling me over.
    Then he gets in my face like an army sargent getting loud with me I'll tell you these cops got balls. He says you don't wanna piss me off I was ready to say look dude get the pen movin so i can get movin.

    Oh it was for expired registration, he decided to run my plates for no aparent reason at all. I wonder if thats legal just running random plates.

                      You just dont know how to deal with cops. You be polite, answer thier questions as yes sir, no sir, do not volunteer information, just be courteous and they will finish thier business with you quickly and move on to someone else.

                      You show them an attitude, and it just makes shit worse. You are not going to win when they pull you over by being a dick.

                          Did you get an anal cavity search? Sometimes I drive on the wrong side of the road in hopes of getting pulled over! ;) lol PS ... as for the reg, isnt there a sticker in the front thats color coded? Usually they can spot an exp sticker a mile away... at least in this state.

                              Oh. by the way, I took Criminology in college when I wasnt sure what I wanted to be when I grew up, and its statistically proven that if you cry when you get pulled over (woman) you'll get out of the ticket 60% of the time and 80% of the time if they do end up writing a ticket, they will reduce the charges to something less. So cry like a bitch!! Not sure if this will work with men, but you can try it!

                                      How about driving with proper registration? That would avoid the problem alltogether

                                          My friend told me when he goes on ride alongs with the cops they randomly enter in license plates at stop lights and such looking for shit when they are bored... so yes, that's common.

                                          You don't really have much to bitch about though. It's not like you got pulled over for no reason. I've gotten tickets for exp registration, inspection, etc and sure the ticket sucks but renewing your registration on time is a hell of a lot cheaper!

                                                  They usually run the plates and check for warrants (at least they do that to me every time) at least you didnt get a $120 ticket for rolling though a stop sign on a bicycle like me

                                                                      My first and only speeding ticket, I cried and still got one.

                                                                      Funny since I was kid, my mom had to go to court with me. The cop was nice enough to reduce my speeding charges to state something like 65 mph in a 55 zone. I never told my mom that I was probably going about 80 mph, she bitched to the judge that no one drove the speed limit on that highway, and I was singled out because I was a female.

                                                                              I am pretty sure if you ever have anyone rob your or hurt someone you love you would want recourse. Funny how he saw that as he pulled me over from behind. and that the 20,000 quebec tourist don't have to have front plates yet he just knew, my ass.

                                                                                                  They can run anyone's plates for any reason. Driving is considered to be a prvilige and not a right. In your case you did not have a legal registration thus they would obiviously run your plates. Stay legal and you will not have future problems with officers of the law.

                                                                                                              Running your plates does not come under the heading of a search like the government entering your home and checking your hard drive. Your license number is not considered private. Wouldn't he know your vehicle was unregistered by the lack of the proper sticker on your plate before running your license number?

                                                                                                                                                  2. If you are getting pulled over, don't give the cop a hard time
                                                                                                                                                  and stop immediately in the middle of the road. Put your hazard

                                                                                                                                                  Drive as long as you need to safely take your car away from oncoming

                                                                                                                                                  3. Apologize. Don't ever argue regardless of your opinion. The cop
                                                                                                                                                  is always right. He wants to teach you a lesson. Let him do it and
                                                                                                                                                  him go feeling like he's done something good in teaching this lesson
                                                                                                                                                  and feeling good for not giving a good person a ticket.
                                                                                                                                                  4. Associate yourself. If you volunteer, know a cop, or do
                                                                                                                                                  something for the community... don't be shy about it. The best time
                                                                                                                                                  to argue your case is not in court, but NOW!
                                                                                                                                                  5. Be honest, but sell yourself. The cop says... "do you know why i
                                                                                                                                                  pulled you over?" Don't patronize the cop by saying I dunno.
                                                                                                                                                  Say, "I'm sorry to inconvenience you. I really wasn't paying
                                                                                                                                                  attention and I think you're right. I was probably going a little
                                                                                                                                                  too fast. You know i'm really not a bad person, I volunteer to teach
                                                                                                                                                  little kids over by blah blah school. I have a clean driving record,
                                                                                                                                                  etc. etc."
                                                                                                                                                  6. Humanize yourself. Cops are people too. The will emphasize with
                                                                                                                                                  you if you tell them about your family or job obligations.
                                                                                                                                                  7. Support the police. There are numerous organizations that you
                                                                                                                                                  can join such as the 200 club that will give you a gold card to hand
                                                                                                                                                  to the officer with your license showing that you, in essence,
                                                                                                                                                  prepaid for your ticket while supporting their association.

                                                                                                                                                      They didn't randomly run your plates. Police officers run the plates of EVERY vehicle they pull over. For all they know, the person driving your vehicle may have committed a very serious offense and are an armed and dangerous person.

                                                                                                                                                      That would be info they would need to know before they come strolling up to the window.

Just be friendly and agree to everything they tell you and say sir or mam after everything and they usually wont give you a ticket but just a warning.

Coral Springs cops in Florida broke up a friends high school party in a private community and destroyed the house on purpose -- $200k in damages. I watched it happen! They busted windows, pictures, stoves, left running water upstairs and flooded the upstairs so that the floor caved into the gargae below. Protect and serve my ass! They sent over 50 DRUNK teenagers driving home -- of course I was one of them.

It's funny how everyone says "I hate fucking cops". Many cops are very understanding, they are human-beings too that are man enough to protect everyday people. Sure I know some cops are dicks because they have authority over you.

                                                                                                                                                                          But a lot of cops are pretty cool if you are understanding with them. They ran your plates to be sure you are the owner of your car. So they really are protecting you, yet you complain about them running your plates.

                                                                                                                                                                          I don?t understand when people that say they hate the police and have probably only been pulled over only once or you were doing something illegal. People are too quick to judge.

                                                                                                                                                                              Well that is true. I did get pulled over once because my car fit the description.
                                                                                                                                                                              They out their gun at my head and one on my cousin on the front of the car. As they were tearing apart my car they broke my 3 pc 1400 amps by trying to lift up the the box of the 3 Jl 12's . Besided that , they ripped out my strobes that we used for competitions.

                                                                                                                                                                              After they were done searching, they let us go without saying,"Hey, I am sorry." Well Just listen to what they say and make sure that everything in the car is mounted in a way they can't fuck it up.
