anyone else getting blank emails with no attachment of 40K each?

It's crazy, I'm getting around 15 of those blank emails everyday. That's 600K that I have to remove else they'll crash my email account.

There's no attachment, no text, nothing.. and the subject field reads "Re:"

Anyone else going thru this?

it has an attachment.. some kind of an audio file - "audio/x-wav"... i block all e-mails at my server and have no further problems

i get about 2 of those emails a day the thing that scares me most is that whenever i open an email i see a program being executed and only a few milliseconds after that being closed????????

search your disk for kerner32.exe
if you have it and you have the virus!

I had to open a yahoo account with unlimited mailbox for 20.00 to get thsi shit off my server.

The filter on yahoo keeps mauch of this shit away, but I am getting lots also.

Yeah, the email program opens Explorer to run html emails...then opens attachments instantly upon reading them. It is pretty scary. There was a different version of the same thing back in March.

I get one every 5 minutes, so far they all have attachments of 40kb each. It's a lot like the Sircam virus that was a pain in the ass a few months ago.

Yeah, this one replies to all unread messages with Re: the original subject in the header, and a copy of the virus. It also logs all your keystrokes.
