I think it must be an incredible amount. Just what I have sent them in a couple months is insane.

I've heard that they turned over $1B last quarter - If this figure is right, it would be interesting to know how much of that was from Adult.

I would like to know what percentage of the their bidded click income comes from adult.

I'd say less than 20%, what do you think?

Believe me, for certain types of 'deep content' niches, AD SENSE will make you more money rather than advertising via Ad Words.

I thought adsense would go for adult sites.

I stand corrected guys. My point was an ad sense type context sensitive PPC program would do better for deep content/text rich adult sites than other methods. My bad.

I think it's really competitive. On average the cpcs are lower in comparison to industries like insurance, or mortgages for example, but it's so broad. There's so many products and so many niches that all together, I think it would be greater than 1%. For example, you can have a product site with 30,000 urls.

I doubt adult makes a dent in the big scheme of things. While adult might have large quantity of clicks, there's tons of terms which go for much higher CPC's than adult.
