Broadband Connection In oz...What's best?

There is a lot of BB around...im on Primus...but it sucks...i get like dialup speeds...

Anyone make a suggestion on what they have..or past experiences on what they had before...??? good or bad is cool.

Hey YoYo!...

I use Bigpond ADSL and for the most part it is pretty fast. That being said, however, it does go down for several hours at a time at least 2-3 times a week. It is a REAL pain in the ass when it happens!

Make sure you look at their new costs first too. They only give you 3gig transfer per month, so work it out and see if that will bother you.

I'm on a cable modem. It took a while to get it working but I can't complain now. Its very fast and reliable. I'd recommend it.

I was thinking of trying the Telstra Bigpond Cable....but ive heard they also suck shit too...

You get 3 gigs of transfer a month from your isp? I'd use that up in about 30 minutes

There is also Optus that's what I'm using....but they also suck shit too...But they are cheap.

I'm on Bigpond ADSL. while Telstra does have its problems it sure as shit beats dialup. Only thing in the fine print to look out for is that your uploads are counted in your monthly gig allowance
