I really don't understand why this niche is considered so risky. Women menstruate every month & most of us don't hold off on sexual encounters during that...well...period. Personally, when my hormones are raging, nothing makes me feel better than a romp in the shower.

I have to admit, this is the one niche that I totally and completely can't get with. There are lots of fetishes that I'm not into and don't think are erotic, but I could still work with the content, write copy, and make an effort to sell them, as long as I was making money. Interesting how one in the U.S. (or most anywhere else for that matter) has to ask - is it ok to talk/show such and such ... freedom of speech and expression is a fiction - it's never existed in the U.S., which is where you're at, according to your GFY user profile.

Point is that what content is acceptable or not depends on numerous factors, of which the law is only one; politics, timing, luck, etc all play into it too.

In Canada, 'horror' combined with explicit sexuality is also considered illegally obscene (fake or real).

AMEN! I don't get off on the niche but I do get damn horny during that period and I know a lot of other women that do. I have been lucky I don't have a very heavy flow and the two main partners I have had have had no issues with sex at the time.
