Who ever you are, self esteem comes from accomplishments, not being in a relationship just to say you get pussy.

It makes me puke when I here about anyone staying in a bad relationship with someone, life is too short to be miserable. There are plenty of girls out there that want to have fun not play Mom to their boyfriends.

I'm thinking canplayer is the boyfriend in question... and he lives in montreal, as does ricks (as evidenced by canplayer knowing where ricks goes to get sexed up)... which means, in all likelihood, that she's french.

It's hard to say exactly why he's staying in the relationship. I somehow doubt he feels validated when he's essentially being stalked, refused 'permission' to leave the house, et al... but you do have a point. It takes two to be in a relationship like this.

Still, he's the one who appears beset by her obsessive behaviour, so it's probably up to him to take the steps to free himself (both of them?) of it, imo. Easier said than done, of course.
