Châteauneuf-du-Pape is nice, its the most famous wine from the Rhone, down in the Province, the place where the popes used to go to relax :)

Make sure you get the right year and be prepared to pay some :) lotsa ppl like it, its made of 13 diff kinda grapes so a mix, if you wanna go for really spicy or fruity etc you might wanna go for another kinda wine

(yes i drink a lotta french wine)
