Can someone tell me how to fix this?

Under Windows XP Pro, whenever I try to use IE lately I'm seeing this message instead of a webpage:

    Access Denied (policy_denied)

Your system policy has denied access to the requested URL.

For assistance, contact your network support team.
How do I change my system policy?

            Apple sucks.

Are you using a proxy or something? If so, Disable it.

            If not:

Tools > Internet Options > Advanced > Restore Defaults

If that didn't work check back in with me

Edit: Sounds like this could be spyware as well, Hit up lavasoftusa.com and get AdAware Personal version and run a scan.

I already use Firefox, but I'd like to be able to do Windows Updates and possibly login to MSN Messenger. Currently, I can't do either.

I've cleared my cache, cleared my cookies, restored default settings, still nothing.

open up the run command and type %SystemRoot%\system32\compmgmt.msc /s
                        and edit your system policy's.

I ran a few system restores, had to go back nearly 10 days to get it working right again. Not sure exactly what messed it up, but hey, it's working again.
