as it only opened here recently. I liked it a lot and yes he should have been nominated for an oscar. However, I kept thinking the whole way through that the drunk driving groups in the States must have gone mental over it.

it is actually but the drunk driving kept making us squirm a bit. They knew it too because the first time they drink while driving they tease you (without entering *wink wink* stage) with if he will actually drink or not.

yes I couldnt believe it ! I thought the States is generally anti-drink driving and yet these two were driving all over cali after constantly guzzling bottles of wine

I wonder how common that is ?

PS *SEMI SPOILER* - i thought the scene where he was drunk at the winery was absolute classic!

I thought it was pretty good, someparts were slow, but
overall a good flic. Definately makes you want to goto
a winery. Not too sure how many there are in Jersey though, hehehee

Did it make you lust uncontrollably for a bottle of Pinot Noir? I just saw a piece in the news about how it has inspired an insane increase in Pinot Noir sales in the US. Wild....

I loved the movie and yes, once again Paul Giamatti criminally overllooked at Oscar time...I guess he'll have to play a one legged retard who is a math whiz if he wants to get the rub from the Academy...
