I gave up having the movie channels and just get things from the blockbuster dvd thing that is like netflix. That way everything that I get is something I had an interest in seeing.

I'm about to kick all the movie channels except for hbo so I can get the tv shows and just go to blockbuster once a week and get every new release

I rotate between the HBO package and Showtime depending on who's running new episodes of the shows I watch on them. I end up watching very few movies on any of them. Then again I have a 10' dish with 2 different receivers hooked up to it and access to at least a couple thousand channels. I never have the problem of nothing to watch. I regularly have to decide between a couple of things I really want to watch while having little idea what's on 95% of the other channels. If nothing else I can always get a kick out of some of the international channels or news and various other feeds bouncing about. The things you can see that don't go "on-air"

If you have a spot in your yard (with a clear view S/SW) big enough to put up a dish you will never put anything in your house more entertaining than a 4DTV & an FTA (free-to-air) receiver.
